There have been hundreds but very few famous ones. Most disappearances are just small yachts and private planes. Here are the details about the two most famous disappearance's. The USS Cyclops and Flight 19.
This is my rough draft for a paragraph on my high school paper. Note: Taylor I. of West Ridge wrote the passage below.
The most famous ship that disappeared is the USS Cyclops. The USS Cyclops was a transport ship during World War 1. Many people think there was a German sub that sank it, but I think that the Gulf current swept it away and cab sized it because it would have been easy for the current to sweep it away because the Cyclops was having engine troubles. Flight 19 is among the most mysterious disappearances of the Bermuda Triangle. Flight 19 was a squad of TBM Avengers on a training mission. They were going to fly from an airport in Fort Lauderdale Florida to torpedo bomb some training targets. They were supposed to fly west to here. (Point on map) and then north to here and then south west to here. Due to compass variations and radio blackouts Captain Taylor (not me but the captain of Flight 19) decided to go back to an airport south down here (point to spot on map). That's what he thought he did. Consequently, it is commonly believed that from the compass variations caused him to go way up north (point indicated on map) and then kept going until they all crashed in the OkePonoke Swamps in Georgia. Subsequently, a search plane was sent to find F19. This search plane was called the Mariner. After it left to find F19 (p) it too was never seen again.
Over 1,000,523 People/ objects have dissapeared into the Bermuda triangle...That is including dissapearing objects/ People from Hundreds of years ago.
It is said that many ships and airplanes disappear in the Bermuda Triangle it is the magnetic feild that causes the compasses to go out of control and not work. New answer: Many ships and planes disappear in many parts of the oceans, not only in the Bermuda Triangle. It is doubtful that more disappear in the Bermuda Triangle than elsewhere.
about 48
There are many legends that surround the Bermuda Triangle. There have been deaths reported, as well as ships and plains disappearing. However, there is no direct evidence that the Bermuda Triangle is directly responsible.
It is reported that at least 20 planes and 50 ships have gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle in the last 100 years. 1,000 people have died or disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle in the last 100 years.
They did not, there are many theories, but there is not a solid answer based on facts.
thousands and thousands of ships and air crafts have sunk in triangle that we can't imagine
Since the Bermuda Triangle is a part of Earth (so we know of), so it must have appeared at the time the Earth was born. No one knows why the Bermuda Triangle somehow make planes, ships, submarines, and many other stuff mysteriously '' disappear'' when they enter it.
The Bermuda Triangle is actually a big triangle in the ocean that corners three islands and is a place where many ships and plains crash and are never found. You are considered lucky if you make it out alive. The Bermuda Triangle is also found for unexplained mysteries.
no not just planes most of them are ships, planes, boats and many other things
An area in the western Atlantic Ocean where many ships and planes are supposed to have been mysteriously lost .
No, there is no point of sailing in that area because it makes the objects disappear. Anyone who sails out of Miami, Bermuda, or Puerto Rico are sailing into the 'Bermuda triangle'. That includes the major cruise lines and airlines and hundreds of thousands of private boats and planes. The Bermuda triangle area is actually a leading vacation area. Actually, many ships travel through the Bermuda Triangle. Many people believe that because it is so busy, that it is the reason for all the disappearances. For example, the more ships that travel there, there is a bigger probability for ships to disapear.
