It depends on what type of bullet you are shooting, whether it is .22 shorts or .22 longs, but on average 18 to 22. You can also purchase and install yourself a tube extender that can shoot up to 35.
Should be 15.
what is age of wichester model 90 hex barrel shots shorts serial number 761031
There is no one single best caliber, but to get an answer, you need to be a little more specific. Rifle or handgun? Define long distance. 50 yards? 100 yards? 1000 yards?
The question can't be answered without knowing the caliber, number of shots and all markings.
The Serial Number, Caliber, barrel Length, Model Style (Carbine, Musket, Sport), and condition need to be determined before a value can be given. Lots of pictures of markings imperfections, the inside of the barrel and shots of the entire gun would be needed.
It would depend on the magazine length, (full or half) and what caliber the gun was chambered for.
That will depend on whether you are shooting short, long or long rifle ammunition.

Yes and No. It depends on the type of firing system. There are 5 different type of firing systems used in airguns and rifles. (See the link below. Read the section on Air Gunning Systems) to get a better understanding of how they operate. Break barrel and Nitro systems always have a consistent firing force. Because you have to cock it each time. Pump systems also have a consistent power for the same reason. C02 Will loose power after around 30 to 40 shots. PCP will loose power after around a certain number of shots depending on the size of the pellet. An example would be an "Air Force .177 caliber Condor air rifle" can produce up to 100 consistent shots, but change the barrel to a larger heaver .25 caliber and you may get only 75 consistent shots. A 50 Caliber PCP rifle may only get 5 to 8 consistent shots because the pellet is so large and requires so much air to drive it downrange.
