first of all , the moon doesn't have sides. The moon is round .the moon reflects light from the sun. when the moon rotates. the side of the moon that is facing the sun reflects the sunlight unto the earth. that is how we see different shapes in the moon.
Yes.Appearing first as a skinny crescent on the right side, the visible portion of the moon grows to a full disk, and then shrinks to a skinny crescent on the left side, before disappearing entirely. This entire pattern repeats every 27.53 days.Go out and watch it some time.
The Hidden Side of the Moon has 229 pages.
The Other Side of the Moon - anthology - has 416 pages.
Because the near side is protected somewhat by the earth.
Because when everything is arranged that way and you look up at the moon, you're looking at the side of the moon which is completely away from the sun, so it's completely dark and you can't see any of the moon at all. That comes at the end of two weeks that the moon has spent shrinking and disappearing. It's several hours before you can begin to see the first skinny sliver of the lighted side of the moon, almost as if it's the appearance of a whole new one.
Many names of the moon are in regard to the full moon. This includes the full wolf moon, the full snow moon, and the full worm moon.

You didn't proofread your question, so nobody can be sure of exactly what you're asking. You want to know about either the "tilt" of the new moon, or else the "title". I'm going to assume you mean the title: "New Moon". As you've probably noticed, the shape of the moon that you see in the sky goes through a whole cycle of "phases" in the course of a month. Beginning with a very skinny slice on the right side, it grows and grows for two weeks until the whole circular moon is visible. After that, it begins to disappear, a little at a time, night after night, and after another two weeks, all that's left is a skinny slice again, but this time it's on the left side. Then the whole thing repeats, every 29 days. You could start describing this process at any point. I started with the skinny slice on the right side. All cultures in history who have noticed the moon, or worshipped it, start with the skinny slice on the right side. That's always considered to be the beginning of the cycle, and it's called the "New Moon". Technically, as far as astronomers are concerned, the New Moon is actually a day or two BEFORE you see the skinny slice on the right, but at that point you can't see the moon at all. So, to the Jewish and Muslim religions, and to the Chinese, the New Moon is the first skinny slice you see AFTER the moon hasn't been visible at all for a few days. spoiler for new moon> ---- I think what he or she is asking, why is one of the Twilight books called new moon. A moon has cycles, like what is up there^. I think that is why she called it new moon. It was all in stages and each stage falled into the next easily. I'll show you... 1.bella and Edward, as happy as can be. 2.Edward desides to leave Bella 3. Bella starts to get depressed so hangs out with Jacob... 4.Edward comes back and they are as happy as can be... There are four main stages to the moon, these are the four main stages of new moon. Hope i helped
The side that's visible.
A couple of days either side of Full Moon the Moon looks almost full.
The "near" side of the moon is the side that always faces Earth. The "far" side of the moon can only be seen from space. The dark side of the moon is the title of a Pink Floyd album. There is no side of the moon that is always dark.
