Answer:
While some of the modern Bible translations use the phrase, none of the original Holy Spirit inspired scriptures say: "go to hell." The concept of equating sin with going to hell is best left to the other religions of the world, because The Bible doesn't support it (at least the imaginary concept of a hell where things burn, but never seem to burn up).
The same goes for "going to heaven." The only scripture in the Bible that remotely says "go to heaven" was uttered by Lucifer just before he and his army attacked God's throne in heaven.
"...for thou hast said in thine heart, I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God... I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High..." (Isa.14:13-14).
It's Satan who wants to go to heaven. Thus, has his heart's desire been interjected into the false religions of the world.
God says we don't go to heaven (John 3:13).
And God says that an "everlasting fire" is prepared for THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS (Matt.25:41)... not man. Thus, has Satan affected his own fate into the beliefs of men.
All in all... the Bible doesn't equate the quantity of sins we commit with "going to hell."
"Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, 'Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?' Jesus answered, 'I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.' " (Matt.18:21-22 NIV)
It only takes one sin to earn a person being cast into the Lake of Fire to suffer eternal death (the second death - Rev.20:14)... if the sinner is utterly unrepentant of it.
If God expects man to be ever forgiving of the trespasses of his brothers against him, shall we not expect an equal or greater measure of mercy from Him?
"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matt.6:14-15 NIV)
One. No one gets to Heaven except by the grace of God through the death and resurrection of Christ. Trust in Jesus is your only way.
A persons spirit is what leaves and it either goes to heaven if you dont commit man sins and if god forgives you for those sins as long as you really feel bad about the sins you commited. Or a persons spirit can go to hell if they commit sins and don't go to church to confess them selfs upon a priest(thats when god forgives people for their sins) but if people don't follow the 10 commandments and don't at least pray for god to forgive your sins you go to hell which is a bad thing obviously because your spirit is torchered and god is our creater which gives us eternal life if we go to heaven after some one dies.
you can't go to heaven and hell at the same time. it depends on how many sins you make. check the bible
Some common sins that many people commit include lying, cheating, stealing, gossiping, and being greedy. These sins go against moral and ethical principles and can harm oneself or others.
hell is like a pit stop, you work off your sins then you go to heaven.
No, God will forgive your sins if you ask him to.
Yes you will as you will then commit adultery as the wives will be living.
yes you can go to hell for haveing sex before marrage but if you have repented for your sins and accepted Jesus into your heart then I believe you wouldn't go to hell.
A:This depends on whether they believe in hell and, if so, whether they have sought forgiveness of their sins.
If you say ( insert god's name here) forgive me of all of my sins. you will never go to hell( you have to mean it)
The reason does not matter, you will go to hell if you commit suicide. That is if you believe in hell or heaven, that's just the Church's rules.
My personal opinion is that you will not go to hell for playing poker but you should go with your own beliefs and feelings on that subject. Nobody knows for sure if hell exists or the terms or sins that might get you sent there if it does.
They go to hell. Unless they believe in god. Then they probably go to heaven.
