A few hundred like 300-500
Harriet Tubman freed 340 slaves in a ten-year span. Taking them to the Underground Railroads and then to Massachusetts. She freed slaves from their Confererate slave owners and took them to the northern union state of Massacusetts. This only includes the slaves she freed when she was a conductor on the Underground Railroad, this number does not include the number of slaves she saved in her successful Combahee Raid, where 750-800 slaves were freed from their plantations.
She saved millions, but some of them decided to go away on their own. But millions and gajillions were saved by her. We learned that last year. And I can't wait for my 5th grade yearbook in 2 years!!! YAY!
Sorry about this person. the actual number is more like 70. people used to believe that it was three hundred, but now they have decided to call it over 70.
Thanks. Oh and who ever posted above me plz stop!!!!
