a fare few
There are 20 slices plus the heels.
Fair few, not fare few
About 20...........Half of that is 10......
In an 800g medium-sliced pan loaf, there are usually 19 slices, not counting the end slices (heels). This may vary by up to 2 slices either way, but in my experience the number is usually odd - very inconvenient if you're producing sandwiches on an industrial scale for events!
well it depends on the the size and how thick you want the slices to be
buku sklices
[object Object]
Depends on the style of bread. I have seen 10 to as many as 24 slices in a loaf.
"Slices" can be used both as a verb ("the baker slices the loaf") and as a noun ("my club sandwich has three slices of bread").
loaf?

The number of slices in a loaf of bread depends on, for example, whether it's thick or thin sliced or simply by the baker. On average however you can expect to get approximately 10 sandwiches per loaf.

If you cut the loaf once, you have two slices, and they are pretty big ones. Each is half the loaf. If you cut it 2 times, you have three slices, and if you cut it 3 times you have 4 slices. We generalize and say if you cut the bread n times you have n+1 slices
