It very much depends on your location. It is very possible that an individual would never ever see a solar eclipse (not even a partial one) since at a given spot they can be separated by hundreds of years or more. there is no single answer that would work for all locations.
because the only happen in a certain place
During the 20th Century, there were 228 solar eclipses and 229 lunar ones, which is about as equal as you can get. But lunar eclipses are visible over a wider area. So if you stay in one place, you're more likely to see lunar eclipses more often than solar ones.
The best website for eclipses would be undoubtedly: http://www.eclipse.org.uk/eclipse/ it gives both solar and lunar eclipses.....its easy to use, has gif animation to illustrate how the eclipse is going to look in your place, where will it be total, what path it will cover etc....it also gives details about past and future eclipses.....NASA eclipse website is tad bit complicated.....
Although they occur in almost identical numbers, you're more likely to see a lunar eclipsewhen it does happen. Everybody on the night side of the earth, in any place where thefull moon is visible, sees the effects of the lunar eclipse, whereas the effects of a solareclipse are visible only in a relatively narrow band on the earth.
As far as I know, there are full and partial eclipses of the full moon and every other moon phase. It all depends on position and timing of the moon and the planet or star that eclipses it. Full or partial eclpise can only occur at Full Moon.
in outer space
A person can find the love of their lifetime in many places. Although the place is unknowable, a person must remember to stay positive on the search for true love.
domicile
Lunar eclipses occur more frequently than Solar eclipses. About 70 eclipses take place in regular cycles lasting 18 years and 8 or 9 days; usually 41 of these eclipses are solar and 29 are lunar.
because the only happen in a certain place
Both solar eclipses and lunar eclipses are fairly common; there are 1-2 of each every year. ______________________________ Solar eclipses SEEM TO BE rare, because each one affects only a small area on the Earth. For example, the last total solar eclipse had a path across the south Pacific Ocean, including a few atolls in French Polynesia, Easter Island, and the southern tip of South America. If you live in a particular spot and never travel much, you might see one solar eclipse in your lifetime, and you might NOT. It would be rare for one place to see two total solar eclipses in one lifetime. (But not impossible; Carbondale, IL will have two total solar eclipses 8 years apart, in 2017 and 2024. ) On the other hand, if you live in Los Angeles, CA, the next total solar eclipse will be in about 500 years.
