The number of spark plugs go by how many cylinders the vehicle has.
If the vehicle has 4 cylinders then there are 4 spark plugs
If the vehicle had 6 cylinders then there are 6 spark plugs
If the vehicle has 8 cylinders then there are 8 spark plugs
This is because of what the spark plug does. See, in a combustion engine, a small amount of fuel and air is compressed in each cylinder, and it has to be ignited to combust. this is the job of the spark plug. It gives the "spark" needed to ignite the fuel/air combo to force the piston down which will turn the crankshaft, which is connected through other things to the wheels.
Anyway, if the vehicle is 1.6L it should be a 4cyl vehicle, therefore 4 spark plugs.
there is six spark plugs
1.8 liter engine is 4 spark plugs
Depends on your engine: 1.0 liter 3-cylinder = 3 spark plugs, 1.3 liter 4-cylinder = 4 spark plugs
A Mazda 6 s requires 6 plugs, A Mazda 6 i requires 4
There are 8!
The 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine has ( 8 spark plugs ) , twin plug ignition system The 2.9 liter and 4.0 liter V6 engines have ( 6 spark plugs )
The Ford 4.0 liter V6 engine has ( 6 spark plugs )
It is a 3.1 Liter V6, so it has 6 spark plugs.
On a Ford Excursion ( if it has a gasoline engine ) ( the 5.4 liter V8 engine has 8 spark plugs ) ( the 6.8 liter V10 engine has 10 spark plugs )
The 3.0 liter and 4.0 liter V6 engines have ( 6 ) spark plugs The 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine has ( 8 ) spark plugs with Fords twin plug ignition system
That would depend on which engine you have in your 2003 Ford Excursion : The 7.3 liter diesel engine doesn't use any spark plugs The 5.4 liter V8 engine has ( 8 spark plugs ) The 6.8 liter V10 engine has ( 10 spark plugs )
In a 2006 Ford Fusion , gasoline engines : The 2.3 liter four cylinder engine has ( 4 spark plugs ) The 3.0 liter V6 engine has ( 6 spark plugs )
