Lookout Mountain is a town in Tennessee. The tourist industry claims that Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama can be seen from the Rock City point. From that point you can see Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. However it would be very difficult to see Kentucky, Virginia or South Carolina because of the curvature of the earth's surface.
