The joke "What bird is with you at every meal? A swallow" is a play on words, or a pun. A swallow is a type of bird, and it is also what you do to your food when you eat.

Blood meal fertilizer is toxic to cats. When ingested the fertilizer can cause gastrointestinal upset and, in some cases, pancreatitis.
It is the relationship of two organisms helping each other while they get what they want. For example, a bird and a rhinosaurus helps each other. Insects are bothering the rhino and it is the bird's job to eat the bugs. The rhino gets relief from the bugs and the bird gets a meal out of the insects.
Large black sunflower seeds are the ones filled with the greatest quantities of sunflower oil - these oilseed varieties can be approximately 40 - 50% oil by weight. Producers generally press not only the seeds but the entire head of the sunflower so they make sure they will obtain the highest oil yield. Once the sunflower oil is extracted, it is sent for further refining and filtering. Modern oil extraction techniques create a byproduct called pressed sunflower seed cake or meal, which is high in protein and can be for livestock feed.
An example of a balanced meal for breakfast is one cup strawberries, one-half cup low fat cottage cheese with one tablespoon of sunflower seeds and one slice of whole grain toast.
Robins don't eat seeds, they eat worms. They also eat mealworms, pill bugs, crickets, spiders and other small insects, and small chopped up fruit like strawberries, blueberries, and grapes. they also like grated cheese.
Bluebirds will sometimes come to feeders offering seed mixes with sunflower seeds. This isn't as likely though. Bluebirds are fond of berries and meal worms. Put a tray of meal worms outside and they should nab them up. Be careful, other birds will also gladly eat these.

A homemade trail mix. You could mix raisons, peanuts (protein keeps you full), popcorn (it has fiber), and sunflower seeds (more protein). It is a really good snack. With some milk, and you got yourself a filling meal.
You can buy treats from pet stores but not all gerbils like them. Most gerbils like seeds like sunflower and pumpkin seeds but these are fattening so don't give many and only a few times a week. They also like nuts but they should be undated and uncooked. You can also feed them different fruits of vegetables if you don't already. As well as this, my gerbils love stale whole meal bread which is also a good treat.
A swallow.
