Railroad ties in the US are nearly all made from oak that has been treated with a preservative. For higher speed track and where continuous welded rail (CWR) has been installed, concrete ties are in use for many lines rather than wood. Metal ties have been tried, but in the past were considered somewhat unsuccessfule. An exotic wood called azobe has been used, and it seems to be preferred over treated oak where it has been used. Composite ties have also been used.

In the United States, no one has been wrongly convicted from double jeopardy. Double Jeopardy is prohibited by the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution, and is an adequate reason for appeal.
No but there has been 3 way ties on 3/17/07 Yes on an episode of September 11 1984 and again on June 12 1998 they all got to come back and play again
8 x 313 = 2504 ties.
No. There has been a final jeopardy with only one person playing and the other two with negative numbers. It would take all three to have negative numbers for there to be no final Jeopardy
