At the age of 7 parents should teach their children how to pray, by the time they reach 10 years old, they should know how to pray regularly, 5 times daily, same as adults.
Al-fajer Prayer....... ( before sunrise )
Al-dohor Prayer..... ( at afternoon )
Al-Asr Prayer......... ( before sunset )
Al-Magreb prayer.. ( after sunset)
Al-Esha'a Prayer... ( almost one and a half hours after Al-maghreb prayer, around nightfall)

In Islam you are not forced to pray... You are asked to pray for your own good. So if you are not religious it is ok... Meaning you don't have to pray at all
