It depends on how many fish you have a rule of thumb is one pinch of food for every four fish in your tank. You should feed them three times a week.
Also, my fish seem to like cucumber and if you have babies, put in a bit of lettuce for them to hide in. ( editing the answer : no way! maybe two or three times a day!
