I have no doubt that Jesus was standing many times in heaven; however i think we have only one Biblical record of him standing at the right hand of God - when Stephen was looking up into heaven and saw him there. (Acts 7.55)

A:Luke 24:51 tells us that Jesus was taken bodily up into heaven on the evening following his resurrection, near Bethany. Acts 1:1-9, by the same author but written some time later, says that Jesus stayed on earth after his resurrection until the day he was taken up near Mount Olivet and that during this time he was seen by many. Although the ascension in Acts logically should be the second time that Jesus was taken up bodily into heaven, the text makes it clear that this was the only time.

Both these accounts are very much at variance with Matthew's Gospel, where Jesus met the disciples at a mountain in Galilee and therein commanded the disciples to go forth throughout the world and teach what he had taught. Since only one of the evangelists even suggests that Jesus was taken up bodily to heaven, and since this so clearly conflicts with Matthew, we should consider whether this event was a literary creation by the author of Luke-Acts. Presumably the author simply changed his mind on just how long Jesus stayed on earth, resulting in the two different accounts written perhaps some years apart. If so, Jesus was never taken up bodily to heaven.

Who saw Jesus after his resurrection?

They experienced Him in exactly the same way they did before. They saw Him with their eyes, they talked with Him and walked with Him. One difference was that He didn't walk around or teach openly any more. They also saw Him eat on a number of occasions and He still answered their questions as before, such as those of 'doubting Thomas.'

Does it matter how many times you reject God but as long as you die believing in God you will go to heaven?

No, that is not true. You must accept Jesus as your Savior if you want to go to heaven when you die. You should never, ever reject God. No matter how good you are or how much you believe in God, you will go to hell if you don't have Jesus in your heart.
