Christianity is not a 'new' religion but the fuller, Spirit-filled Church. The Congreation of Israel, the 'old' church was primarily a physically blessed peoples who were given Sacrificial laws to show them that they needed a Messiah. God's Plans for Mankind are revealed in His 7 Annual Feast Days as well as the weekly Sabbath (rest). The prophets, particularly Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Jerimiah spoke of the coming Messiah. King David speaks of Him many times in the Psalms. Christ came to expand the spiritual aspect of the Law and correct the Pharisees/Sadducees/Scribes misuse of the physical aspects of the Law adding unnecessary burdens and legalism to the Law of God. Though the name 'Christianity' doesn't apear in the Old Testament, the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelations (Luke 24:27) speaks of Jesus as the only Way - in 'phase' 1 (OT) and phase 2. The one compliments and completes the other as we are to live by EVERY word of God.

None. The Old Testament was written before the time of Jesus Christ. The Old Testament writers had no way of knowing about a new religion far off in the future.
