In the King James version, the word - messiah - only appears twice in the whole of The Bible.
Both of those are in the Book of Daniel
Really, that is an unanswerable question, because it is an innumerable amount of times that prophecies were made about the Messiah. Some were obvious and some were hidden. There is even the thought, by some, that the entirety of the "Old Testament", as some call it, was a prophecy of Messiah altogether.

Without counting, I can tell you a lot. Everytime you see "XX the annointed" (Kings, Rabbis, Priests were all called "Messiah") the word used was the same as "Messiah" (Especially in the Old Testament). However, the translators changed it because they believe people are too stupid to know the difference. New question: How many times does the word "Messiah"/"The annointed"/"Rubbed" appear in the Bible? (They are all the same word.)
