How many times larger the image in the scope appears. A 4 power scope makes the image 4 times larger.
Of course not. The first thing you do when you get a convex lens is use it to createan image of the sun that's small enough to roast an ant. You have a 1.4-million-kmobject, and a 1-mm real image. The image is 1.4 billion times smaller than the object.
the object will appear 20 times larger

A microscope.
Not a clue. Please Tell Me The Answer ?? :)
No. Magnification refers to how many times larger an image is made. The sharpness of an image produced by a microscope is called resolution.
No. The resolution states how close two points can be, while you can still distinguish them as distinct points. A greater enlargement - making something look 400 times larger - may or may not help to improve the resolution. (An exaggerated enlargement may make the image larger, but blurry.)
