During WW1 everyone rotated between who had sentry duty (but not necessarily the officers.) So basically any private was up for grabs when it came to sentry duty.

Call of Duty: World at War, definitely. I'm not sure, but I think it is only about 30 dollars now,maybe 40.
There was China Beach about the Vietnam war that ran between 1988-1991. There was also "Tour of Duty" that ran 1987 - 1990, about at the "tours of duty" of several members of a platoon during the Vietnam War.
