You should have at least two soldiers before attacking another player. If you only send one soldier it will automatically die. However, at different stages in the game, the base number to attack with will increase due to the increased defense of your opponents. It is strongly recommended to scout the opponent before attacking.

Build troops as fast as you can, send all reinforcements to the village that is being attacked. If you had paid up all your troops but seems doing nothing, delete your account then. Nothing valuable to stay there.

There are not really weapons in travian, so I assume you mean better troops.Better troops are definitely helpful in travian, for example because they usually eat (relatively) less crop per hour. Defending: If you have been colonized before and te enemy had 30000 warriors and 30000 archers like what happened to me, you would want an army of about 40000 warriors, 3000 ballistae, 2000 catipults, and about 10000 archers. You also want wall defences. Attacking: If you are attacking a village you will want about 5000 warriors. If it's a town about 10000. Fort 40000. City 100000-250000. It all depends on what troops they have.
