Theoretically white light contains all of the colours of the rainbow, an infinite number of colours.
Rainbow is made from refraction & total internal reflection of light of the sun. The light of sun is white, which is combination of 7 colours. When rainbow occoures, white light is divide into all these colours. That's why rainbows have many colours.

Light has 7 colours. The colours are those that make up a rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.
Solid / Metallic / air brush / matte / tone / multicolour are the types of colours for cars. Then the colours (red, black, green etc.) comes.
White light is composed of many colours. When these colours combine, they look white. One way of showing that white light is composed of different colours is to make white light pass through a glass prism. This splits up the white light into its constituent colours. I f you hold a screen in its path, you will see a band of colours. This band of colours is called the spectrum. Since it is visible to human eyes, it is called the visible spectrum.

Not many light intensities in the desert, with strange colours as such. Just colours of the sunset, such as oranges and reds and pinker shades. I hope this has helped immensely ;-)
There are many ways you can design a simple traffic light circuit. I recommend you to use a 4017 IC. Please check this site as reference. It's a two way traffic light circuit. http://circuitdesolator.blogspot.com/2011/01/traffic-light-circuit-based-on-4017.html
because light is made of many colours and when it hits a serten object the light seperates
