There are three main types.
DRAM - Dynamic Ram, which is the RAM in most computers. It's called Dynamic because there is a need for circuitry in the computer to constantly refresh the data. It will lose all data if power is removed.
SRAM - Static Ram. Not as common but used to be used in laptops and portable devices. Called Static as you don't have to refresh all the time, but it does lose the data if you turn the power off. It is lower power than DRAM, but not as high capacity
Flash RAM - though there are lots of names for this. Used in USB keys etc. It saves data even after the power is turned off. Access to it is a lot slower than DRAM.
They are so many but it dipends with your topic
sdram, ddr, cmos are the types of ram
CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and Blu-ray
There r two different types
ram is temporary memory of pc,it is voltile memory. When we shut down our PC then all the data erase from ram. Types of ram: 1)SRAM 2)DRAM
about 100000
it has the word "Flash" before Ram
There are many different kinds of RAM. Ram is not related to the operating system. It is related to the motherboard. You need RAM that is compatible with your motherboard. When you do that XP or any other operating system will run.
the two main types of RAM are: SRAM- static random access memory which is faster but more expensive it also takes up valuable space. It tends to be used for cache memory and it doesnt have to be periocically refreshed. DRAM- dynamic random access memory, the most common type of RAM, an advantage of DRAM is its structural simplicity.
dyanamic ram two types
ram
The different types of computer architecture makes it important to have different types of RAM that suit them. The architecture may be on the number of bits that the motherboard supports.
