Look at the back of your fridge and find the plate that tells you how many amps it needs. Once you have Amps you multiply that number by the Volts coming out of your plug (usually 120v) and you will get Watts.

So once more:

Amps x Volts = Watts

How many amps will a 230 vac 3500 watts heater draw?

To calculate the amperage, you can use the formula: Amperage (A) = Watts (W) / Voltage (V). In this case, the heater draws 3500 watts and operates at 230 volts. So, the amperage will be approximately 15.22 amps.

Amps to watts?

Watts = Amps x Volts Amps = Watts / Volts you only need to know two of the three to work out the other so 230 volts at 10 amps gives 2300 Watts (2.3 kW) 2.3kW at 230 volts draws 10 Amps
