Look on the ballast inside of the fixture. There is an amperage and a voltage on the ballast label. Use this equation to find the wattage. W = I x E, Watts = Amps x Volts. This will give you the answer that you are looking for.

How many marijuanna plants can you grow with 250 watts of light?

Long answer: it depends what kind of bulbs you're using, how big your plant is, how you have the light spaced, etc. 250 watts= 5, 50 watt incandescent bulbs; 6, 40 watt, 4-foot fluorescent bulbs; two 125 watt metal halide or high pressure sodium bulbs. If you can afford the HPNa or the MH, you can afford more wattage. If you're strictly limited, I would recommend 3, 4-foot, dual bulb fluorescent shoplights with alternating "daylight" and "plant/aquarium" bulbs. That should cost you about $20 per fixture, and $4-5 per bulb, for a total cost of $90 to grow an ounce of pot. Or you could buy a quarter of some good stuff and forget the effort, time, space, and risk. Short answer: One.

What is the wattage of a standard four foot fluorescent bulb?

Using twelve gauge wiring how many eight foot fluorescent lights using 110 watt bulbs can you use on one twenty amp circuit breaker?

Ohm's law states: I*E=P in other words: I = amps, P=watts, E=volts If: I or Amps=20 and E or Volts=120 (i am guessing as this one is standard for a residance) Then: 20 * 120 = 2400 or 2400 watts of power are avaliable 2400 watts / 110 watt bulbs = 21.8 bulbs can in theory, be placed on a 20 amp 120 volt circuit. The reality is that you would probably not want to place more than 17 or 18 100w bulbs on a circuit for safety and code required design load calculations. However you can bet that all bulbs in a residance will not be active at one time and therefore seldom will the peak load be at max. None of this takes into account any other loads on the circuit or derating factors such as heat, etc. When in doubt always get a qualified electrician to help or guide you as electrical fires are the cause of much property loss and life safety concern. What is the equivalence of 20 foot candles in watts?

What is easier to install an incandescent light bulb or a fluorescent light bulb?

It depends. If you have a compact fluorescent bulb, it is about the same difficulty level as installing an incandescent bulb. If however you are installing a 4 foot long fluorescent tube, it may be considered a bit more difficult because there are 2 pins on each end of the tube that have to line up on each end of the light fixture, thus it would require a bit more effort and coordination. Once you line the end pins up, you push the tube into the slot until it is fully seated, then you give it a quarter turn to lock it in place.

How much energy is used by a single 4 foot fluorescent light?

There are actually a wide variety of different kinds of 4 foot fluorescent lamps, which do not all use the same amount of energy. However, 40 watts is typical.

Formula for watts per home?

If this question is about electrical home heating then use ten watts per square foot.

Did early florescent bulbs draw little power?

Take a 4 foot tube of 10 years back they used 40 watts today they only use 34 watts, that does not seem like a lot until you have to light a office area or a work area then it adds up on the electric bill. so less is better

How do you wire 120 volt 2 bulb 8 ft?

It sounds like you are talking about a two tube eight foot fluorescent fixture. Open the fixture up and you will find a ballast that has probably two yellow wires, two blue wires, two red wires and a black and white wire coming out of it. The 120 volt supply will connect to the black and white wires that protrude out of the ballast. Black ballast to black supply and white ballast to white supply.

What is fixture unit?

A fixture is 7.48 gallons which is equal to 1 cubic foot of waterAlso a fixture unit in storm drainage is roughly 3 square feet depending on pitchTo convert sanitary /waste to storm fixture units for a combined system one has to do interpolation combining all the GPM flow expected from a 10 year frequency
