First of all: dont touch the baby until its at least two weeks old!! This is extremely important, as if the mom hamster smells you on the baby, she will EAT it! After two weeks, its ok to get to know the baby. When you are around the cage, speak quietly to it, especialy when you are feeding them. They will get used to your voice. Make up a name for them, and call them softly by their name when you see them. You can also hold a treat in your hand for it to eat. But do not give them to many; theres tons of sugar in those treats! And dwarf hamsters are suseptaple to diabetes. Hope this was helpful!
It will take about two weeks cos male hamsters will start developing their testicles. You will see that the behind of males are larger than those of fmales in bout two weeks.
