A puppy should never be removed from its mother prior to six weeks, and eight weeks is preferable. The more mother's milk it receives as a puppy from a healthy bitch, the healthier the puppy will be.
Until they are at least 8 weeks old. Many will argue that 6 weeks or 7 weeks is old enough. The full 8 weeks with the mother is needed so the mom can teach the babies (pups) how to act around others. One of the most important of these lessons is called, "Bite control", which means that the pup learns to "play bite" without hurting. This is very important if the pup goes to live with a human family!
For most puppies they need to be at least 8 weeks old... although some need longer. A Yorkie needs to be with there mom until the age of 3 months.
6-8 weeks.
5 months
Puppy chow.
all puppies should stay with their mom for at least 8 weeks (2 months)
As my suggestion, You have to prove it to her that your responsible for a puppy.First you should ask her this "Mom, pls can I have a puppy" If your mom says NO. Prove more that your really responsible As your mom realizes that your really responsible. You should ask her again, by: Saying "Mom, I really want to have a puppy. I'm responsible and if I'm not responsible you could take the puppy from me. Please mom. I really Love to have a puppy. And if she says "NO" just repeat and maybe sooner she will say YES :)
Your dog will produce milk as long as there is a demand put on her by the puppies. The pups should stay with their Mom 8 weeks but should be weaned at around 3-4 weeks of age. You should introduce softened dry puppy food mixed with canned milk (diluted 1 part water to 1 part canned milk). Do not feed regular cow's milk as will cause diarrhea. You can stop adding the canned milk at about 4 weeks and just feed the softened mushy dry puppy food soaked in warm water and then feed it drier as the pups age. By 5-6 weeks they should be crunching on dry puppy food. Mom needs to not be nursing them at all, so her milk will dry up. Note: Mom dog should be fed a good name brand puppy food while nursing her pups and pups should be put on the same good name brand dry puppy food too. Don't feed cheap generic dry puppy food.
i don't know but you should research it hahahahaha
Probably when it stops breastfeeding from its mom
It's a good idea that the mother keeps nursing her young pups until the pups are 6 to 8 weeks old. This way puppies will get a good start on life.
males stay with the mom for a year and females a little longer
