White tigers are a rare varation of the normal bengal tiger. Left to itself, it would hav the same kind of habitat as the normal bengal tigers - the Forests of India and some neighboring countries. But since us humans found the black and White tiger so striking, there are more White tigers alive today in captivity in parks and zoos than there has ever been in the wild. So today, the most probable habitat of a White tiger is a zoo or a park.

A white tiger is a tiger with a recessive gene that creates the pale coloration and is rare. Additional Info: The San Diego zoo received a White Tiger cub in 1992, from the US Custom Services, when they had no place to hold the cub until they could determine where the cub belonged. The US Customs Services had discovered the cub in the back seat of a car, traveling without permits, licenses, or any paper work concerning it's health or owners. The cub wasn't secured in a kennel, and without water. The zoo took care of the cub, and when no information was found, they volunteered to house her. She grew up in the zoo and became part of the tiger family in the zoo. For more details, please see the sites listed below.
