The question makes no sense. A cable cannot have volts in it. Voltage is measured across an element. I assume that you are asking what the voltage between the signal lines and the answer is dependent on what you are connected to. Gigabit ethernet is one level, 10/100 is another and so on.

∙ 12y agoThere are 4 pair just like the earlier category(x) cables. The faster speed is attributed to greater insulation between wires and correspondingly less crosstalk.
CAT5E is capable of the same speed as Cat6 and is easier to work with.
The maximum length of 100m (or about 300 feet), remains the same.
