Language learning is not a numbers game. Fluency is not defined by WHAT you know. HOW you find your own way of expressing yourself is the important part.

Regardless of the mistakes you make, if you’re curious and passionate about learning and practicing, you can use mistakes to find out HOW to keep improving your speech. And you’ll naturally become fluent in English before you know it.

It is not how many words you know that makes you fluent in a language.

Fluency is your command of the language (reading writing listening and speaking) , whether you can handle complex structures in the language without inaccuracies and misunderstanding.

This would require the knowledge of around 3,000 words
