10 square feet = 1.11 square yards.
You will need 7.1 square yards of fabric.
One and a half yards of 60 inch width fabric.
3.125 sq metres = 3.737 square yards (NOT YARDS).
2.6yards
almost 3 yards 2.87 yards
From what I can tell, fabric is usually converted by using a factor of 18. So, 1 yard of fabric = 18 square feet of fabric. Note that this rule ONLY applies to fabric. For almost all other materials (carpet, tile, wallpaper, etc) you would use SQUARE yards and square feet, and this uses a factor of 9 (ie. 9 sqft =1 sqyd). 725 yards
~29,167 square yards
10-ft by 10-ft = 100 square feet = 111/9 square yards.
To determine square feet you need two dimensions: length and width. If the fabric is 500 yards long, then it is 1,500 feet long (3 feet per yard). If the fabric is 3 feet wide (36"), then the total is 4,500 square feet, but if it is 5 feet wide (60") then the total is 7,500 square feet.
That's 18 square feet - which is 2 square yards.
