The first colony Jamestown was established in 1603. Plymouth was established in 1620 by 1775 all 13 had been established. So if we use these dates from 1603 to 1775 is 172 years.

there were all kinds of diversity. there were puritans, separatists, Jews, dutch, many different diverse colonies. many people came from Europe and other scame for religious freedom

The English came to the "New World" to gain more land. ALso since they were strict Christians they wanted to also spread Christianity so they made as many churches as they could. Also, anyone who wasnt Christian would be executed.

Brigham Young was not an explorer. He was a leader. He lead the Mormon people from Illinois to Utah. He sent many pioneers from Utah to establish colonies in Idaho, Arizona and Alberta. He also sent pioneers to establish colonies in California and Mexico.
