To become a Chiropractic Doctor (yes, they *are* Doctors that deal with the spine and such) takes a minimum of 6 years...however it is traditionally 8 years. For instance, I don't personally see how somebody can become a Doctor in six years, when an E.R. *Nurse* (note they are lower than a doctor) takes seven years. So I would say 8+ years.
