A:The synoptic gospel stories of the mission and crucifixion of Jesus have been estimated as probably coveing a single year, perhaps the year 30 CE. John's Gospel, on the other hand, clearly covers three years in its stories of the mission and crucifixion of Jesus, perhaps 30-33 CE. In addition, Matthew and Luke also contain nativity account that cover a period during the latter part of the reign of King Herod the Great, who died in 4 BCE.

Paul's epistles were apparently written sometime within the late forties to the early sixties of the first century, and provide indirect evidence of the early history of Christianity. Acts of the Apostles covers the same period, although it was written at the end of the first century.

Thus, the New Testament more or less covers a period from the reign of Herod, prior to 4 BCE, to the 60s of the first century CE. Whether or not this is actual history is another matter. Certainly, New Testament scholars say that the nativity accounts do not represent actual history, and that Acts of the Apostles is theology rather than history.

Additional Answer:

The consensus of Scholars writing the New King James Study Bible cover a historical period of the New Testament from the birth of John the Baptist in 5 BC to the ending of the Ephesian Church Era and John's last writing of Revelation in circa AD 95. A period of approximately 100 historical years.
