In general, any quarter dated 1965 or later is only worth face value. Quarters dated 1964 and earlier were made of 90% silver and 10% copper. That works out to a bit less than 1/5 oz of silver so at a minimum their raw metal value can be determined by taking the current spot price of silver and dividing by 5.

Of course older and better-condition coins can be worth more to collectors so it's always a good idea to have their numismatic values checked before selling silver coins as scrap metal.

Value of a Quarter from Bermuda?

When I was there the nearest coin to a quarter was a two shilling coin, which had a value of about 28 cents (American) but that was a few years ago.MoreIt depends on the definition of "a few" years, lol. Bermuda has used its own dollar currency since 1970. Before that they used British shillings and pounds, but when Britain adopted decimal pounds Bermuda converted its currency to dollars pegged to the US dollar. The coins are the same size and value as US coins and exchange one-for-one, so a Bermudan quarter is worth the same as a US quarter.

What is the value of a 1776-1976 Kennedy quarter?

It's either not a quarter or not Kennedy. JFK's picture is on the half dollar. Washington is on the quarter, where he's been for about 80 years. Either way these are common coins left over from the Bicentennial. In circulated condition they're only worth face value or a couple of extra cents.

What is the value of a 1999 p us quarter?

A 1999 P US quarter is worth a book value of $0.30. No one will pay you more than 25 cents for this coin though since they are so common. My advice is to save the D quarters from the state years. These are not as common as a P coin.

The American Bale Eagle is our national symbol.MoreUntil about 15 years ago the image was legally required on all coins except dimes, nickels, and cents. The law was relaxed when the State Quarter series began in 1999, and was not applied to the new Presidential and Native American dollars.

What will be the oproximet value of a 1958 penny in about 20 years?

You can't tell the value of a coin in 20 years. It is worth around 2-10 cents in circulated condition. My guess is that it will be worth around 75 cents to $1 in 20 years but you can never determine the value of a coin in 20 years.
