I have a 2001 and a 2007 Avalon. They each have two air filters; one for the engine and one for the passenger compartment. The engine air filter is under the hood. The passenger air filter is behind the glove box. On newer Avalons, the filter is more easily accessible since you only need to open the glove box. On older Avalons, you must disconnect the glove box to get behind it. (see other posts regarding how this is done)
I doubt if it has one. Cabin air filters appeared about 2002. Walmart carries Fram cabin air filters. Look in the Fram application catalog to see if the 97 Avalon is listed.
Where is the air filter located on a 2000 Toyota Avalon
How do you reset the Airbag warning light on a 1995 Toyota Avalon?
connected to the intake air filter box
Toyota Tercels do not have cabin air filters. Toyota did not put a cabin air filter in any Tercel sold in the US
The 2000 Toyota Avalon. PVC valve can be found on the air cleaner housing. The PVC valve will be attached to the back side of the air cleaner housing.
No, 1998 Toyota Corollas do not have cabin air filters, according to a Toyota mechanic in Madison, WI.
THERE IS A SCREEN TYPE IN THE TANK THAT IS PART OF THE PUMP AND THE INLINE FILTER IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE LEFT FRONT FENDER UNDER THE AIR BOX. NOTE: TOYOTA FUEL FILTERS ARE LIFETIME. (NO NEED TO CHANGE)
No, it does not. Toyota started installing cabin air filters in Camry since 1999.
By not changing it, because it does not exist.
