The fox will be affected because it is
adapted to that habitat and it will be
a Little hared to adapt to the aether habitat.
The fox would have no chance of getting food because there is nowhere to hide. That means it can't sneak up on it's food
The oil covers the animals and it will be hard for them to breathe because of the smell, the birds when covered by oil cannot fly easily and so might be eaten. The oil also destroys the habitat of the animals
If by people, then the animals might be hunted or lose their habitat. Loss of habitat causes include deforestation and forest fires. For plants, they might be demanded too much.
Carnivores, herbivores and omnivores might share a desert habitat.
Then all the animals that are connected somehow to the grass will be extinct. Example: Grass--deer--lion If there is no grass then the deer won't have things to eat and it will be extinct and the lion won't have anything to eat so it will also be extinct. some of the organisms won't change because they eat something else like berries and fruits instead of grass won't really be affected. But if something that eats that organism also eats grass then that organism might increase because there would only be half of their predators left anyways it's complicated.

This depends on the organisms habitat and the surroundings of the habitat, for example a zoo habitat is well cared for and safe. A rainforest habitat can be in grave danger because of the large population of human beings on the earth. Every habitat is different.
