If you are asking how people today, in this internet-dominated world, feel about books, it depends on the age of the person. Older people (over 50) still buy many printed books, whether at online bookstores like Amazon or in actual brick-and-mortar bookshops like Barnes & Noble or at their local independent bookseller. Old and rare books are also still in demand by collectors. But younger people, especially college students who have grown up with online sources and electronic versions of books, might be more likely to do most of their reading on their computer, tablet, or smartphone and not buy many printed books at all. But reading is not in decline: whether people buy books, borrow them from a library, or read them on an electronic device like a Kindle, reading is still a popular pastime.
