If it says 1918-D then it's worth $8.00
If it says 1918-S then its worth $7.50
But if it says 1918-D 8 over 7 its worth.................................$550!

A 1936 Indian Head nickel is is common. average value is $1.00-$3.00 depending on the grade of the coin.
Indian Head Nickels (with a buffalo on the back) were only minted from 1913 to 1938, so I have to assume you have something else -- perhaps a Liberty Head Nickel (with a big "V" on the back)? A well-worn 1891 Liberty Head Nickel is worth about $3.00
There is no such thing as an Indian head nickel minted in 1895. The first Indian head nickel was minted in 1913; prior to that was the Barber nickel, with the head of Liberty.
