There are different amounts of memory capability depending on the type of Mac computer you have. An iMac is going to be different than an iBook. ∙ 12y agoAll the new MACs come with 4gb of RAM, all the other specs are per device, NOTE: although MAC specs are sometimes lower than a PC, it does not mean that it will be slower, all MACs are made to run on less power, AKA the operating system of the MAC takes WAY less power to run than a PC, dropping the initial speed the computer needs way down, leaving more room for applications.
