Maximum Tylenol (acetaminophen or Paracetamol) a normal adult can take is 4000 milligrams (mg) or 4 grams (g).

The current record of tylenols in a day is held by Harold Finchely of Harrisford, Michigan. After eating 552,624 units, bottle and all, he passed out. Unfortunately, he has been in a coma ever since.

How many milligrams of Tylenol can you take at a time?

Tylenol contains acetaminophen. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen must not exceed 4000 mg ('daily' means 24 hours). It is not recommended to take more than 1000 mg of acetaminophen at a time. The interval between 1000 mg doses should be about 6 hours. 500 mg doses can be taken more frequently, e.g. every four hours. Each Tylenol 500 gelcap, etc, contains 500 mg of pure acetaminophen. So, the daily maximum is 8 doses of Tylenol 500, not more than two doses at a time. The less, the better, as acetaminophen is not good for the liver.

How many mg of norco can you take?

Norco is a drug similar to Vicodin in that it contains a combination product of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. The amount of the hydrocodone component may vary from 2.5 to 5 to 7.5 to 10 however the acetaminophen content is 325 mg. New guidelines suggest acetaminophen intake be less than 3 grams per day (old guidelines suggested 4 grams) so you could essentially take roughly 10 tablets before toxicity would be of concern.

What harm can taking 10 500 mg acetaminophen 5 mg hydrocodone 6 times a day do to a young woman?

I' m thinking this must be a prank question. As a nurse we are instructed to tell our patients to limit acetaminophen to 4 grams/day due to it's toxicity to the liver. If someone is taking 10 vicodin at a time they would have exceeded the maximum in just a single dose, with 10 vicodin each containing 500 mg acetaminophen yielding, 5000 mg which is equal to 5 grams. This person should be on there way to the ED
