most certainly not the m-16 is chambered in 223 or 5.56 NATO a 243 or 6mm is a larger round
That depends on the exact model of rifle.
100-500 or so
Caliber is .243, buy ammo in .243.
100-500
NO! the 243 wssm cartridge is completely different than the 243 Winchester cartridge. The cartridge case is much wider through the body, and has a lot sharper shoulder angle which sets the headspace on both these cartridge,s.The 243wssm is loaded to a higher pressure also.In effect you would blow the receiver up and yourself if you could get the cartridge to chamber in the breech of your rifle! Do not attempt this in a 243 Winchester chambered rifle.
you should pay about 300 to about 350 dollars for a Remington 243 rifle
Are you sure that you were sold right ammo? I know it sounds obvious but we had a guy bring a 7mm-08 Tikka in saying that the ammo didn't fit and he'd already bought the rifle in and we'd sent it to the manufacter to be checked. I had a look at the box and say he'd been sold 7x57mm aka 7mm Mauser. You may have been sold .243 WSM (Winchester Short Magnum) or .243 WSSM (Winchester Super Short Magnum) instead of .243 Winchester
Depends on if that model is offered in 243
Because that's what the bore measured out to.
50-400 usd
Great rifle.
