what is the difference is it for a ear infection
how amoxicillin/clavulanic effects implanon
medicine
No, ear infections are NOT contagious.
no, but it can give you an ear infection.
see your vet. augmentin may work, amox is unlikely to, but usually ear drops with antibiotic/antifungal/steroid are what I've seen used.
You should take a child to the doctor if you suspect they have any kind of infection - different antibiotics treat different types of infections and what you believe to be an ear infection could be an entirely different infection that may be causing their ear to hurt - then you would be giving the child amoxicillin unnecessarily which could cause him to develop an immunity to that antibiotic and he will need a stronger antibiotic in the future for an infection that could have been treated with amoxicillin. And if he does have an ear infection for real, the doctor will know exactly what dose and strength is needed since there are also many different strengths of that antibiotic.
How often and how much to take for an ear infection
I am at the moment and all is fine
just a twitch or ear infection
Amoxicillin can be used to treat the sinusitis, acute and chronic. It can also be used to treat the ear infections like otitis media and otitis externa. It should not be used to treat the acute pharyngitis.
Penicillin is not always the best drug to give to a horse, you should consult with your equine veterinarian to get an exact idea of what medicine should be used for the ear infection.
