The 2006 Ford F-350 6.0 diesel supplement shows that the entire
engine cooling system takes 27.5 U.S. quarts, and that includes the heater
core and the 5.0 U.S. quarts in the engine coolant reservoir.
does cooling system hold pressure?
The Ford 5.4 liter V8 engine is a ( GASOLINE ENGINE )
I couldn't find the answer for the 1997 but the ( 1999 ) Ford F-350 with a 7.3 liter diesel has an engine cooling system capacity of ( 32.75 quarts / 31.0 liters ) That includes the heater / engine coolant reservoir So , a 50 / 50 mix of antifreeze and preferably distilled water would take slightly over ( 16 quarts / 4 gallons of antifreeze )
When looking into a vehicle it is important to know the gas tank size. A Ford F350 holds 35 gallons of gas.
15 quarts
The amount of transmission fluid that a Ford F350 will hold depends on the size of the transmission. The average is about 19.2 quarts of transmission fluid. The specs can be checked in stores during purchase. Over filling will cause problems with shifting.
about 15qts
7 qts
8qts
68 litres
The 7.3 liter powerstroke diesel has a 15qt oil capacity. When doing an oil change I would recommend putting in 14qt. first, recheck and top off/add as needed, so not to over fill.
the mk5 mk6 mk7 diesel van standard fuel tank is 60 ltrs
