I couldn't find the answer for the 1997 but the ( 1999 ) Ford F-350 with a 7.3
liter diesel has an engine cooling system capacity of ( 32.75 quarts / 31.0 liters )
That includes the heater / engine coolant reservoir
So , a 50 / 50 mix of antifreeze and preferably distilled water would take
slightly over ( 16 quarts / 4 gallons of antifreeze )
7.3L powerstroke takes 15L of oil.
two 8mm bolts at top and two at bottom then the fun part of trying to get it out with out breaking it. the front part will pull up the back part has four 15mm bolts that hold it to the block.
I was looking at the 1997 Lincoln Continental Owner Guide and the engine cooling system capacity ( including the heater ) is ( 14.25 quarts / 13.5 liters ) So , if you have a 50 / 50 mix of antifreeze and preferably distilled water You would need ( 7.125 quarts / 6.75 liters ) of antifreeze
The 7.3 liter powerstroke diesel has a 15qt oil capacity. When doing an oil change I would recommend putting in 14qt. first, recheck and top off/add as needed, so not to over fill.
it hold two(2) gallons of 50/50 antifreeze total
what year diesel what size diesel if it is 7.3 powerstroke, u remove serpentine belt next you unplug wire harness from back of alternator then you remove 2 bolts that hold alternator to engine lift alternator off installation is exact opposite easiest alternator to change out
When looking into a vehicle it is important to know the gas tank size. A Ford F350 holds 35 gallons of gas.
2 gallons of coolant mixed 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water is enough to fill the system.
what size are the bolts that hold a starter on a 1995 f 250 powerstroke
15 with filter 13 with out.
About 2 gallons of a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water
Every 94 thru 97 Crew Cab with the PowerStroke Diesel and the long box should have dual tanks, that hold 16 gallons each.
