Water= H20 which represents one molecule. Which is 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 part Oxygen which would be 3 parts (atoms). So if it's TWO molecules of water, it doubles.

How many molecules of hydrogen in water?

There are two atoms of hydrogen in a water molecule, but no hydrogen molecules.

Are water molecules made up individual water molecules?

no. atoms are the basic blocks. atoms fit together in certain ways to create molecules. Water is made up of two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule.

What are the two atoms that water molecules consists of?

2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom.

What are the chemicals in a water molecule?

Water is made of two Hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Usually chemicals are made of molecules so (atoms < molecules < chemicals).

How many atoms combined form two water molecules?

How many molecules of water would result if two molecules of glucose combined with 12 molecules of oxygen?

Twelve. Glucose is C6H12O6, so two molecules of glucose would give you: 12 carbon atoms 24 hydrogen atoms 12 oxygen atoms The 12 molecules of oxygen would give 24 oxygen atoms, for 48 total atoms of oxygen. So...each carbon atom would take two oxygen atoms to give 12 molecules of carbon dioxide, and each remaining oxygen atom would take two hydrogen atoms to give 12 molecules of water.

What is the location of molecules in an atom?

Molecules are not found within atoms becasue several atoms make up molecules. Forinstance in a water molecule you would find one atom of oxygen and two atoms of hydrogen.

How many atoms are needed to make 30000000000000000000 molecules of water?

There are 3 atoms in one molecule of water (H2O is two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom)... so just multiply the number of molecules by 3.

Do elements consist of atoms or molecules?

Atoms. Molecules are two or more atoms together.

Is water made of atoms?

Water, H2O, is made of molecules. These water molecules are made of atoms. 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen atom.

Is water a example of atoms?

Although all matter is made of atoms there is no such thing as a water atom. Water is made of molecules made of two hydrogen atoms bonded to an oxygen atom.

Why does having 2 hydrogen molecules make water instead of peroxide?

Water is H2O and hydrogen peroxide is H2O2 ; both of these molecules have two hydrogen atoms. It is the number of oxygen atoms which varies.
