Depends how much you put in, but usually about 36 - 48 hours.
I think it can, I once thought there was something wrong and the missus had put bleach down the lav.
The negative consequences of the chemical reaction between ammonia and bleach are well known.
A bleach stain on a White t- shirt would just make a hole ! I don't know what your talking about exactly, try soaking the t shirt for a few minutes in bleach, make sure you mix the bleach with the water well before you put your shirt in, that might be how you got 'bleach stains' in the first place (if you just poured the bleach on your shirt and didn't mix it in the water first) and follow the directions on the bottle and don't use too much bleach because that will cause the fabric to weaken and make holes.
household bleach will not dye your hair, if you put too much of it on your head you will probably get chemical burns to your scalp and charged with assault.
Boil it.
I would suggest just running your inside faucets to get rid of the bleach (it should loose it's smell) before using it for potable water, unless you have a septic system, then you probably should call a professional to help you out. Kathy, Wisconsin

put more bleach down the toilet
NEVER put muriatic acid in a well, especially one consumed by humans or animals. Use Chlorine Bleach to kill bacteria in the well. Or call a water professional. They'll probably charge you a couple hundred bucks and use Clorox bleach except it'll be in a plain bottle or aftermarket label.
Don't see why not. Just make sure you didn't put any other solvents down there first and don't put anything down there with it.
You should never put bleach in water to keep it clean. You can not drink water with bleach and it and any other living thing in it will die.
about hafe of the cap. if small 3/4
im worried about you... id put the chemicals away and lay down for awhile
Not if you let the kids into it. Better to drain it, use bleach to clean and kill the algi, and then rinse well.
