NEVER put muriatic acid in a well, especially one consumed by humans or animals. Use Chlorine Bleach to kill bacteria in the well. Or call a water professional. They'll probably charge you a couple hundred bucks and use Clorox bleach except it'll be in a plain bottle or aftermarket label.
Most pool owners carry chlorine muriatic acid and algaecide. The wisest thing to do however is to take a water sample from about an arms length down in the pool in a cleaned bottle to a pool shop where they can test the water and let you know exactly what you need.
Yes it can kill you as it will cause severe damage going down. even though the stomach make quite a strong mixture of hydrochloric acid it would be extremely hazardous to swallow any strong acid. never mind the expiry date.
You should always add (small parts of) the concentrated compound (acid, hydroxide) to (the larger amount of) water, because you can stirr and mix and cool down better (heat of hydration can be absorbed much better by the water and surroundings)

"In water it forms an acid which reacts with the limestone to produce a water-soluble substance."
Muriatic acid. Either straight acid, or a watered down mixture. Let the acid sit for a minute or so, then brush off.
Using acid to keeps weeds down will be effective, but is also against the law. Acid in soil can make it to water wells, as well as rain runoff.

It really depends on what type of tile you have down. Muriatic acid is great at cleaning some types of tile. It will really mess up other types. If you head down to the flooring department of your local home improvement store, someone there will be able to talk to you about your specific case. I have spoken to people at Home Depot about the use of muriatic acid in the past. They were very knowledgeable.
1-2 gallons of muriatic acid will break down the buffer solution(alkalinity in the water). Will then probably have to raise pH back up
PVC pipe is not affected by acid. Why would you pour acid down your drain in the first place? It will not cure any problem you have.
Answer: VERY CAREFULLY! Beyond that what you want to do is add Soda Ash to the solution that you mixed up. For every 16 oz of Muriatic acid use about 3 lbs of Soda Ash. Soda Ash is also know as pH rise, pH increaser, pH Plus, Sodium Carbonate, Balance Pak 200, and any thing that it is used specifically to increase the pH level in swimming pool water. ONLY USE A PRODCUT SPECIFICLY DESIGNED FOR THIS PURPOSE. NEVER MIX CHLORINE AND MURIATIC ACID TOGETHER IF THE EXPLOSION DOES NOT KILL YOU THE CHLORINE GAS WILL. Once the Soda Ash has done its thing you can safely pour the solution on the ground and hose it down with fresh water. PH the particulates in the acid are now large enough to stay in your filter and not back on your salt cell. Why waste when you get to the large stuff at the bottom of the container fill it back up with water and pour it down the drain.
Muriatic acid will lower the Ph of the water in a swimming pool which may be helpful if the pH is too low, However the best way to kill algae in the pool is to try shocking it first and failing that get algaecide. as a last resort use a clarifier making sure you follow the instructions on the container.
You shouldn't use any acid when cleaning your toilet. It can kill the bacteria that the system needs to break down waste.
Mutratic, or hydrochloric, acid are characterized for the free H+ ions they have in solution, just like any other acid. Hydrochloric acid breaks down entirely into -Cl and +H in solution, and these free ions have the tendency to attack and break down organic matter, which your skin is made out of.
A good test kit will tell you what you need to do based on the readings you get. No set answer here.
