It depends on the store your selling to. You will not get much from game stop. I'm selling my ds lite, and a bunch of games and they'll only give me $50. and if you are 17 or under, they can only give you store credit, like a gift card to GameStop, not real money.

Club Nintendo is very safe you have to make a simple acount you make a password and user name but you have to be atleast 13 or you cant really make an acount then you can register your ds ds lite or dsi for coins the more coins you get the more stuff you can get and if you have a wii and register it you and get a 90 day warentie
