It's worth at least its silver value, around $14. But you need to be more specific because some dollar coins are worth a lot more even if very worn.
Please post a new question with its date and mint mark, if you can make them out. Saying "Liberty head dollar" isn't specific enough because ALL dollar coins from 1878 to 1935 had Miss Liberty's head on the front.

The last Liberty Head half dollars were made in 1916. If you have a Bicentennial half with Independence Hall on the back, it's a Kennedy half.
