40 billion tons are emitted by human beings each year. Divide that by 365. More than that is produced from natural sources, but the additional CO2 is broken by photosynthetic plant activity, primarily blue green algae, or by other natural means. I assume you meant how much CO2 do humans liberate.

Carbon is produced in the cores of suns via stellar nucleosynthesis. Some carbon 14 is created in our atmosphere by cosmic ray bombardment of nitrogen, but that carbon is transient, decaying back to N14 by beta particle emission with a half life of some 5000 years. Essentially as much is created as is destroyed, so C14 is somewhat in equilibrium. So no new carbon is produced on earth, nor in our sun, which is not a massive enough for carbon fusion. Big red giants, far away, make all new carbon.

Limestone, or calcium carbonate (CaCO3), locks up much of the carbon that once resided in earth's atmosphere. Billions of tons of it remain sequestered in this rock.

More of it is in the oceans, slightly acidifying them, and elsewhere. Plants break atmospheric CO2 apart, releasing the O2 and absorbing the carbon. In the fall and winter this carbon recombines with oxygen, releasing CO2.

Our atmosphere contains about 3000 gigatons of CO2. Although we emit only 30 gigatons per year, over the course of a century we would double the present amount.

"According to a study by the United States Department of Agriculture, an average person's respiration generates approximately 450 liters (roughly 900 grams) of carbon dioxide per day."

"A single mature tree can absorb carbon dioxide at a rate of 48 lbs./year and release enough oxygen back into the atmosphere to support 2 human beings."

Just math and conversions after that.

C + O2 -------> CO2 12g of carbon produces 44g of carbon dioxide 1kg of carbon will produce 3-67kg of carbon dioxide

How much carbon dioxide produced with burning hydrocarbons?

This depends on the chemical composition of the hydrocarbon.

How much carbon dioxide does each light bulb emit?

None. Light bulbs do not emit carbon dioxide. The electricity used to power the light bulb may have been produced by a method which emits carbon dioxide (then again, it may not have), but the bulb itself doesn't emit anything except heat and light.

How much of human created carbon dioxide is produced by hydroelectric dams?

Only that required to build the dam and make its component machinery. Hydroelectric power (produced by the operation of the dam) does not produce any new carbon dioxide.

How much carbon dioxide is produced by the ocean?

The oceans are regarded as carbon dioxide sinks, not sources. This means they remove carbon dioxide, not produce it. Carbon dioxide dissolves from the air into ocean water. Once there it is removed by plankton and algae, by corals and mollusks in making shells, and by chemical action.

How much water is produced if g of methane and g of oxygen combine to form g of carbon dioxide?

From 16 g methane and 64 g oxygen are obtained 44 g carbon dioxide.

How much automotive exhaust is produced by cars each year?

Vehicle exhaust is mostly carbon dioxide, with a little water, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxides. This answer deals with the carbon dioxide content only.Sixteen percent (16%) of human carbon dioxide greenhouse gas emissions comes from road transport (cars, trucks and buses). Cars are responsible for about half of this (8%).Humans are responsible for around 35 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year.Car emissions, 8% of that total, is around 2.8 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide (2,800,000,000).

Much of the carbon dioxide produced by green plants is not excreted as a metabolic waste because it?

How much carbon dioxide does ethanol produce?

The formula for ethanol is CH3CH2OH So for each mole of ethanol burnt it produces 2 moles of carbon dioxide 1 Mole of ethanol is 46 g 2 moles of carbon dioxide is (2 x 44 g) 88 g So each gram of ethanol produces 1.9 grams of carbon dioxide on combustion

How much atoms of carbon and of oxygen are in each molecule of carbon dioxide?

The name "carbon dioxide" tells you what it is made of and how many atoms are involved, as long as you know that "di" is one of the syllables that means "two." So one molecule of carbon dioxide has one atom of carbon and two atoms of oxygen.
