Over a billion, if only people would lay off the guns and the killing for a while, soon they're all going to be extinct and they're gonna wish they wouldn't of shot all those deer. The average person shoots about a thousand deer in a year. And think of all those people that shoot deer in one year. That means each average person would shoot about a thousand deer each year, maybe less. BTW, thinking of deer I thought of JOHN DEERe. I love John Deere, and you better too, because international sucks (why do they capitalize it?) . Do you agree with me? I hope so........
i would limit deer hunting to at least one or two deer a year.

The rutting season for deer is pretty much over. Deer are losing their antlers in mid-January. Walking in the woods where deer are known to frequent may lead to discovery of their shed antlers at this time of year.
